The Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Carbine is a 9mm Luger-fed semiautomatic rifle that gives its users 20 rounds of ammunition per magazine. Sometimes Small Is Good CZ’s iron sights are quite nice, but it’s 2019, for goodness sake, so we installed a red dot. The sight plane hugs the rail, so optics need to be mounted low. The Aimpoint T-1 mounts quite low and works perfectly atop the CZ Scorpion Micro. The gun presents consistently and easily, with the dot popping easily into view.
And to be clear here, the CZ Scorpion I am interested in potentially purchasing isn't the carbine, but rather the pistol. I would likely throw a brace on it at first, then maybe eventually SBR the thing and put a real stock on it. So comparing these two guns is sort of an apples and oranges thing. They certainly are very different firearms.
The Manticore carry handle (15 inch) forend is really essential to this, without the forend the bullpup kit looks neat, but odd and a bit stubby.
